The Rabun County Democratic Party (RCDP) seeks to serve all the people of Rabun County by its support of economically sound public policies that are beneficial to the citizens of our county. The party shall promote the election and support of officials devoted to our democratic principles, public service, social equity, human diversity and equal opportunity for all people. The RCDP is active in recruiting candidates for election to county offices in partisan elections and in organizing fundraisers and rallies in support of Democratic candidates. To this end, the Party Nominating Committee shall:

• Receive declarations of candidacy,
• Collect qualifying fees for nomination in the Democratic Primary, and
• Certify such candidates to the appropriate authorities.
